In view of the gap with foreign valve industry, we valve industry should seriously consider in order to improve some problems in our development, overcome the problems of disharmony in development, find out the suitable points for development, and jointly promote the revitalization and improvement of valve industry.  For this reason, it is suggested that valve enterprises should turn challenges into opportunities, find their own positions, focus on developing domestic and foreign markets, and resolve the adverse effects of the crisis.  The most important thing for China's valve enterprises is to further improve the product quality and technical content. Only by consolidating the foundation and unremitting exploration and innovation can China's valve brand become famous overseas.

First, there must be a sense of innovation.  With innovative consciousness, enterprises will be encouraged to work hard and seize opportunities.  Many enterprises in the valve industry in Wenzhou and other regions also adopt the family workshop mode, which urgently needs to establish modern management concepts, including market awareness, service awareness, competition awareness, crisis awareness, etc.  In developing the market, including the establishment of a publicity platform, the selection and delivery of promotional media, the search for customers, the establishment of new customer relationships, business communication and exchange, and the generation of new orders, there should be long-term planning and countermeasures.  The valve industry should also attach great importance to technological development and innovation, and strive to form a development mechanism for technological development and innovation.

The core of enterprise innovation is "technological innovation". The vitality of an enterprise depends first on the vitality of the products produced by the enterprise. High-tech and advanced products will bring development and benefits to the enterprise, while backward and obsolete products will bring only decline and bankruptcy to the enterprise. At present, valve enterprises should persist in innovation, adjust the structure of products, transform traditional products and march towards high-end valves.  It is required that large-scale enterprises must take the lead in this respect and strive to gradually win over one-third of the valve products currently purchased from abroad in order to improve the level and competitiveness of the domestic valve industry. For small-scale enterprises, the first is to adopt specialized production, do a good job in one factory and one product, do a good job in strengthening, make great efforts to improve management, perfect process tools, and improve product quality, grade and competitiveness.  Many successful enterprises in the world have developed from small to large, from weak to strong, into large companies with strong vitality. All of them have been realized through continuous innovation. Therefore, the strength of enterprise innovation ability will ultimately determine the competitiveness of enterprises and the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprises.  So as to improve the quality and image of the valve industry in an all-round way.

Second, strive to open up domestic and foreign valve markets: opening up domestic and foreign markets is a process of continuous self-improvement and development, which is actually a process of enterprise development and growth.  At this stage, relevant enterprises should adopt a "two-leg" strategy according to the actual situation and attach importance to the development of both international and domestic markets.  The adoption of this market development strategy can reduce operational risks to a certain extent, enable enterprises to strike steadily, step by step, and continuously expand the scope of the target market, which is of great benefit to laying a firm foundation for enterprises.

Third, strengthen cost control to relieve competitive pressure.  The process of cost control is a process of calculating, adjusting and supervising various expenses incurred by valve enterprises in the production and operation process by applying the principles of system engineering. It is also a process of discovering weak links, tapping internal potentials and finding all possible ways to reduce costs.  For domestic manufacturing enterprises, it is necessary to scientifically organize and implement cost control, promote enterprises to improve management, change management mechanism, and comprehensively improve quality of enterprise, so as to enable enterprises to continuously develop and grow in the fierce market competition environment.  Adjust the capacity structure and expand the connotation.

Fourth, accelerate the effective integration and transformation of resources.  After the benign development in the previous 10 years, the foundation has been laid for further development, thus containing the advantage of realizing a benign balance under structural adjustment in the valve industry.  With the deepening of the market economy, China's valve industry has encountered many problems such as "low, small, scattered" and the development of the industry has encountered difficulties.  Some small and medium-sized enterprises, which rely on low-price competition and have no obvious brand effect, are struggling and are close to the brink of bankruptcy.  In recent years, valve enterprises have realized that they must speed up the pace of joint restructuring in order to break through the current industrial difficulties.  Some forerunners in Wenzhou valve industry bravely chose the road of "joint reorganization and new development", which has achieved initial success, thus realizing the goal of complementary resources and common development, enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises, expanding the living space, and also finding a new way of "1+N" optimization combination and innovation advantages.

Fifth, renew the concept, abandon the conservative concept of "small wealth and safety", learn the fighting spirit of Wenzhou people who dare to take risks and innovate, do a good job in technological transformation and upgrading of enterprises, and comprehensively improve the overall equipment level of enterprises.  And increase investment.  Increase investment in research and development of new products, especially in basic research of valve products, and make every effort to improve the technical content and added value of valve products to create the necessary conditions for enterprises to maximize profits.  We also need to change the system.  At present, all valve enterprises are private joint-stock enterprises with advanced management concepts and flexible management methods.  Therefore, it is imperative to change the system and realize the share-holding system of the enterprise and the professionalization of the management personnel as soon as possible, so as to change the employees into shareholders and from what they want to do to what they want to do, further improve the enthusiasm of the employees and management personnel, and realize the leapfrog development of the enterprise.

Sixth, accelerate the training of talents and promote the progress of the industry: the current era is the era of knowledge economy or strategic competition. People-oriented, talents are of unprecedented importance.  At present, China's valve enterprises are relatively short of technical and managerial talents, and the overall quality of employees is also relatively low. In particular, with the development and rise of western industries, foreign talents are gradually decreasing. Therefore, the valve industry and other enterprises have begun to face a talent crisis of high, medium, low-level and ordinary workers. The difficulty of attracting talents has attracted great attention from the bosses of major valve enterprises. They are seriously thinking about how to open up the way for talents.  From now on, enterprises should further tap the resources and potential of talents to develop human resources, and strive to strengthen the training of talents, respect talents, attract talents, make good use of talents, adhere to the people-oriented principle, and adopt various methods and means to stimulate the enthusiasm, wisdom and creativity of mental and manual workers, so as to contribute to the development of enterprises and the progress of the industry.
